THE 2013 CONFERENCE IS SOLD OUT. REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.

Every two years, the Los Angeles Chapter co-hosts the two-day California Crime Writers Conference in partnership with the Southern California Chapter of Mystery Writers of America. This conference is shaping up to be the best one yet.

The keynote speeches will be delivered by two international bestselling authors: Sue Grafton on Saturday and Elizabeth George on Sunday. Ms. George will also lead a workshop on the craft of writing. She is a phenomenal teacher and a well known nurturer of aspiring writers. Don’t miss out. CCWC features two days of workshops and breakout sessions taught by top-notch faculty, including best-selling authors, literary agents, and legal and forensic experts. Attendees can also sign up to have pages of a manuscript critiqued by a published author, agent or editor.

The conference is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, June 22-23, 2013 at the 3.5-star Hilton Pasadena located at 168 South Los Robles Avenue in Pasadena, a short distance from the Rose Bowl, Pacific Asia Museum, Pasadena Museum of California Art, Norton Simon Museum, Huntington Library, Occidental College, Southwest Museum, and many more attractions. The hotel is 20 minutes from Bob Hope Burbank Airport and 45 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
